The 3 year olds are beginning to learn about the body with the unit on Little Red Riding Hood. Here are some games to practice vocabulary related to the story and unit.

5 senses

The five year olds have been learning about the body and the 5 senses through experimenting at the science table, making faces with smelly playdough, number and shape rubbings, body board game, body dominoes, labelling body parts and writing the names of body parts. The children really enjoyed this unit, where we began each lesson by saying things that we can see, smell, hear, taste and touch. It was a great chance to practice their vocabulary!

Los niños/as de 5 años han estado aprendiendo sobre el cuerpo y los cinco sentidos realizando experiementos en la mesa de ciencias, haciendo caras con plastilina olorosa, números , formas, juego del cuerpo, dominos del cuerpo, etiquetando las partes del cuerpo y escribiendo los nombres. Los niños/as han disfrutado en esta unidad, cuando empezábamos cada clase diciendo cosas que podíamos ver, oler, escuchar, saborear y tocar. Un gran oportunidad para practicar el vocabulario.

The four year olds have been learning about the body through various activities such as body dominoes, plasticine faces, using the senses at the science table, songs and games.

Los niños/as de 4 años han estado aprendiendo sobre el cuerpo a través de varias actividades como un dominó de las partes del cuerpo, hacer caras de plastilina, han experimentado con los sentidos en la mesa de ciencias, canciones y juegos.
