Finally, a very big thank you to all the parents and grandparents who helped with cooking and preparing leprechaun and shamrock hats. These activities would not be possible without your collaboration. Thank you!

Here are some activities related to Halloween to help the children enjoy their long weekend:

The children might also like to practice this song in preparation for the silver dawn fleadh.

Here is a song about the Teddy Bear's Picnic which we have been learning about. The children should bring their favourite teddy to school to play games and share cooking activities. Each class has a selected day to participate in the Teddy bear's picnic, please check the Silver Dawn Fleadh program carefully!

This game will help children learn cooking vocabulary.

Parents can read more about the Teddy bear's picnic tradition here.

Silver Dawn Fleadh

The four and five year olds are learning about Irish and English culture in preparation for the Silver Dawn Fleadh. This year we will be learning about typical food (porridge) with "Goldilocks and the three bears", and "teddy bear's picnic". We will also be learning about leprechauns and play some typical games (cricket). Here are some activities which will help them practice vocabulary.
