Saint George.

As part of the school project on castles and Extremadura, the children are learning about Saint George: the Patron Saint of Cáceres. You can practice these activities at home.

We are also learning this song for the school assembly.

SCHOOL ASSEMBLY. THE FOREST

We have been learning about the forest in the English classroom. In particular, about trees,and we learnt this song for the school assembly. It is about a hole, a tree, a branch, a nest, an egg, and a bird. And the green grass grows all around. The 5 year olds did a wonderful job with the introduction poem and the 3 and 4 year olds helped with making the posters and singing the song. Great job everyone!

Hemos estado aprendiendo sobre el bosque en las clases de inglés. En particular sobre árboles y hemos aprendido esta canción para la asamblea. Es sobre un agujero, un árbol, una rama, un nido, un huevo y un pájaro. Y sobre la hierba que crece alrededor. Los niños/as de 5 años hicieron un magnifico trabajo con el poema de introducción y los de 3 y 4 años les ayudaron haciendo los posters y cantando la canción. ¡Buen trabajo el de todos!
