Favourite authors: traditional stories

We are reading traditional tales this term as part of our "Favourite Authors" library project.

The 3 year olds will be focusing on "Little red riding hood", the 4 year olds on "Goldilocks and the three bears", and the 5 year olds on "Sleeping Beauty". Here are some other traditional tales to enjoy :)

school 5

The 5 year olds have been busy reviewing vocabulary related to school and getting used to working in their groups. They are beginning to mix Spanish with English to complete the activities.

Here are some of my favourite quotes:
Carlotta: "es un pencil"
Marta: "estoy trabajando con un pencil"
Marcos: "nos toca eight"
Amelie: "seven no esta coloreado"
Emma: "mira, aquí three y two"

Nearly all of the children ask the "teachers" for rubbers, pencils, crayons and sharpeners in English, and they are trying hard to speak in English at the tables.
