Head to toe.

As part of the "favourite authors" library project, the three year olds have been reading "Head to toe" by Eric Carle. They have been practising moving like the animals in the story. We have made some of these pictures into a class book. The children love to say "Yes, I can!

Como parte de la actividad "Queridos autores" del proyecto de biblioteca, los niños/as de 3 años han estado leyendo "Head to toe" ("De la cabeza a los pies") de Eric Carle. Han estado practicando los movimientos de los animales del cuento. hemos hecho estos dibujos para el libro de clase. A los niños/as les encanta decir: "Yes, I can" "Si puedo".

Recycling

The 5 year olds have been learning about recycling, in particular, how to separate rubbish into the correct bin. The 4 year olds have been making "rubbish monsters" to remind us which bin to put paper, plastic, and other rubbish. The 3 year olds made turtles with empty plastic bottles- a nice way to re-use our rubbish!

Los niños/as de 5 años están aprendiendo sobre reciclaje, en particular, cómo separar la basura en los contenedores correctos.
Los niños/as de 4 años han estado haciendo "monstruos de basura" para recordar en que contenedor debemos poner el papel, el plástico y otras basuras.
Los niños/as de 3 años han hecho tortugas con botellas de plástico vacias - ¡una bonita manera de reusar la basura!

Goldilocks.

The 4 year olds are learning about family and sizes, through the story of Goldilocks and the three bears. They are practising "daddy, mummy, baby, big, medium, small, chair and bed". Here are some photos of the children adding the missing pieces to the pictures, using plasticine. We are also going to make porridge one day soon!

Los niños/as de 4 años están aprendiendo sobre familias y formas, a través del cuento de "Ricitos de Oro y los tres osos". Están practicando las palabras "papá, mamá, bebe, grande, mediano, pequeño, silla y cama". Aqui téneis algunas fotos en las que están añadiendo la pieza perdida de los dibujos y usando plastilina.
¡Muy pronto vamos a hacer "gachas"!

BROWN BEAR

Los niños y niñas de 4 años estamos trabajando el cuento de Eric Carle "Brown bear", dentro de la actividad "Queridos autores" del plan de la Biblioteca Escolar.

The three year olds have been very busy with Autumn, making chestnut collages for 'chestnut day'.
